The printer statement is found on the verso of the title-page (and at the foot of page 359): 'London: / Printed by Spottiswoode & Co. / New-street Square.'
Loosely inserted in the back of the book is a letter on thin paper, addressed to Ruskin, written from Dusseldorf, 26 August 1872, by Lloyd Mifflin. It was seemingly never sent.

A sheet of paper pasted to the front free endpaper written in ink and headed: 'Note from George Allen Edition 1902 [?]'. The notes relate to Ruskin, The Elements of Drawing and its editions. [Writer of these notes unidentified.]
