General Note
The image on the lithographed title-page is signed 'W. Curtis Green 1898'. The lithographed sheets in this portfolio were printed by C. F. Kell & Son, Printers, 2 & 3, Tothill Street, Westminster, S.W. The list of plates indicates there should be 72 plates in this portfolio; however, this set lacks numbers 11 and 69. It does include a wrapper for the 4th quarterly issuing of plates for vol. 10 in which can be found duplicates of the title-page and list of plates for this volume as well as duplicates of plates numbered 2, 9, 14, 15, 20, 23, 27, 28, 33, 40, 52 and 71.
Binding Note
The portfolio is in brown cloth-covered boards printed with black lettering and devices on the front board reading 'Architectural Association Sketch Book - Third Series Vol. 10 1906' and on the spine, lettered in black, 'Architectural · Association · Sketch · Book · 3rdS. 1906'.
