$a This work is possibly an early version of a work, 'A series of views in Islington and Pentonville, from original drawings, made in the year 1818, by Augustus Pugin, with a description of each subject by Edward Wedlake Brayley', which was published in 1819. The title-page in this volume incorrectly names the artist Augustus Welby Pugin, with 'Welby' crossed out in pencil and 'The Elder' [i.e. Augustus Charles Pugin] written in pencil by the name. The date 1810 is also incorrect as all the plate publication lines read 'Published [or Pub, Pubd] May 1, 1819, for the Proprietor by R. Ackermann, 101, Strand.' There is no text, merely the List of Plates.
