Summary Note
This is a collection of twelve letters - the first of them by Baldassare Orsini - written in response to Annibale Mariotti's Lettere pittoriche perugine (1788), which were addressed to Orsini. They discuss the work of Pietro Perugino, painting in Perugia and Umbria, and Etruscan antiquities. The letters are followed by a 'Saggio Intorno il modo di ristabilire in Perugia l'Accademia del Disegno' and 'Continuazione E Supplemento Al proposto Saggio su dell'Accademia del Disegno'.
