Provenance
The front pastedown is inscribed in pencil, 'S:A:H', i.e. S.A. Hart, librarian of the Royal Academy 1864-81.
The verso of the last leaf (135) is inscribed in ink, 'Fran. Nicolai', in what appears to be a 16th-century hand.
Binding Note
19th-century half calf, marbled-papered boards; rebacked and recornered in 20th century retaining earlier spine-piece lettered 'Ricordi Di Saba Da Castiglione', 'R.A.' and '1554'.
