Summary Note

There is no title-page or title-plate. But the first plate, captioned 'Natura', carries at its head the engraved title, 'Portraicts allegoriques des vertus et des vices', and at its foot the imprint, 'a Paris chez E. Desrochers rue de foin'. No date of publication is given; but, according to Hennin, Etienne Duhandier dit Desrochers was established in rue du Foin in 1722.
