$a Hullmandel's improvement to his preparation of lithographic plates, as described in this pamphlet, was the ability to retouch, alter and repair images in the stone long after they had been printed off. The pamphlet is accompanied by specially prepared plates by J.D. Harding and Richard J. Lane drawn to illustrate his process. The text includes letters of approbation by Michael Faraday, J.D. Harding and Baron Isidore Taylor dated 1827. On some further improvements in lithographic printing. With Mr. Hullmandel's compliments appeared in 1829 (see Sir John Soane's Museum Library ref. no. 5696). |
