This work was published after the first three volumes of Lenoir's 'Musée Des Monumens Français' (1800, 1801, 1802) and before the fourth and fifth volumes (1805, 1806); and the Avertissement on the half-title verso states that 'Ce Volume est absolument isolé des autres, et ne dérange en rien la marche que j'ai suivie pour la chronologie des Monumens'.
The half-title reads, 'Musée Des Monumens Français'; the added engraved title plate reads, 'Musée des Monumens Francais, Dessiné par Lenoir et Percier, Gravé par Guyot Description des Vitraux Anciens et Modernes ...'.
