The work describes the university buildings built by Pedro Gumiel and Rodrigo Gil de Hontañon for Cardinal Ximenes at Alcalá de Henares in the 16th century, and the tomb of the cardinal, made by Domenico Fancelli and Bartolomé Ordóñez.
