Responsibility Note
The author's name is not given, but the dedication is by Luigi Chizzola. The authorship is often attributed to the Brescian sculptor and engraver Giovanni Battista Carboni (cf. DBI, 19, p.720).
The frontispiece and decorations are unsigned; but are also sometimes assigned to Giovanni Battista Carboni. The tailpiece on p.142 includes the text, 'Compito, e presentato Manus:to [?] Il Nob. Sig Luigi Chizzola ai 15. di Dicembra 1759 ·'.
The work is dedicated by Luigi Chizzola to the Deputati Pubblici of Brescia.
