Edward Cresy and George Ledwell Taylor had toured Italy and Greece between 1817 and 1819; and shortly afterwards published their Architectural Antiquities Of Rome (1821-2), Revived architecture of Italy: palaces of Genoa (1822), and Architecture of the Middle Ages in Italy: Pisa (1829).

The plates are captioned, and show: [1] Prospetto esterno del Battistero di Pisa; [2] Prospetto interno ...; [3] Campanile di Pisa in Elevazione e Spaccato; [4] Veduta interna del Campo-Santo.
