This work discussing the art exhibited in the Paris Exposition Universelle de 1900 is divided into three sections: Première partie. Exposition rétrospective de l'art français (p. 3-82); Seconde partie. Beaux-arts (p. 85-316); Troisième partie. Arts décoratifs (p. 319-508). The retrospective on French art section was exhibited in the Petit Palais; the other two sections (fine arts and architecture and decorative arts) were exhibited in the Grand Palais.
