Provenance
The verso of the front loose pastedown is inscribed with an owner's signature in ink, 'Amelia Hamp[den ?]'.
The verso of the front flyleaf is inscribed in ink, 'M.M. / from / T.J.M. / 17.th Novr. 1839. / London.'
Binding Note
The front and rear boards are covered with marbled paper; the brown leather spine is lettered in gilt, 'Italy'.
