Summary Note
The plates are captioned in Latin, French and German and show costumes of various nations. The first plate is a portrait of Emperor Rudolph II; the three in-text illustrations are portraits - of 'Io Iac. Boissardus', 'Nicolea A Vienna' and 'Loyse de Vienne'. The title is printed within an elaborate engraved border.
