Grosvenor Notes was published annually from 1877-1890 and comprises of 14 volumes. Volume numbers were not introduced until 1880, which recorded as No. III, indicating that the first edition, 1877, is not included in the numbering sequence. The final edition, the 14th, 1890, is therefore issued as Volume XIII. The 1889 and 1890 editions were titled: The Grosvenor Gallery Illustrated Catalogue of the Summer Exhibition

The Grosvenor Gallery was an art gallery in London founded in 1877 by Sir Coutts Lindsay and his wife the artist, novelist and poet Caroline Blanche Elizabeth Fitzroy. It closed in 1890. Grosvenor Notes was published annually from 1877-1890.
