$a This portfolio comprises 100 plates of drawings of medieval and renaissance architecture in Italy by the members of the Académie de France in Rome. The plates are preceded by a preface and the Table Explicative des Planches [list and description of the plates] prepared by Georges Daumet. A later, second volume, appeared in 1925 published by C. Massin et Cie, long after this portfolio had been presented as a prize in 1910 to Hubert Worthington (later Sir Hubert Worthington R.A.). |
