Summary Note
No publication-date is carried by the title-label on the upper cover; but several plates carry dates - 1821 (pl. 12b, 17), 1822 (pl. 6), 1823 (pl. 13), 1824 (pl. 12a, 14), 1825 (pl. 10, 11, 16).
The plates show landscapes with dogs, horses, stags, rabbits and game birds. Several appear to be views of Scotland, which Landseer first visted in 1824.
Copy Note
On every plate the blind stamp of Gambart has the letters 'afb' inscribed in pencil in an unknown hand.
Binding Note
