$a Millin was best known for his accounts of the history of architecture in France. His Dictionnaire was in its day the most complete available. It includes references to French, Italian , German and other authorities. A note on the verso of the half-title of Volume I states that a small number of copies was printed 'sur papier vélin superfin satiné'. A second edition was published in 1838. |
