Description of Haydon's picture of the Reform Banquet, painted for the Right Honorable Earl Grey, now exhibiting (with other works) at the Great Room, No. 26, Saint James's Street.
The title and publication information are taken from the cover of the pamphlet/exhibition catalogue. The plate serves as a key to the personages seen in the painting; it is accompanied by a 'Reference for descriptive engraving opposite'. This is followed by the author's reminiscences of the evening, 'Reform Banquet, July 11, 1832' followed by 'Description of the picture' with the author's initials, 'B.R.H.', at the end of his description.
