The plate bound with this work as a frontispiece is of the 'Colossial Statue of Napoleon, / From the Column in the place Vendome Paris. / Take down by the Allies in 1814.' It is not clear whether this plate belongs with this work published in Paris in 1817 or not. The statue was sculpted by Antoine-Denis Chaudet.
