General Note
With two additional title-pages, engraved by Fialetti, the first, to pt. 1, in French, the second, to pt. 2, in Italian. Part 1 has added engraved title: Briefve histoire de l'institvtion de tovtes les religions; Part 2 added engraved title: Habiti delle religioni con le armi e breue descrittioni loro.
Part 1 is a French translation from the original Italian work published under the title 'De gli habiti delle religioni : con le armi, e breue descrittioni loro' (Venezia: A instanza di Marco Sadeler, ad'uso di Gio. Batta Rossi, 1626). Part 2, reproduces the plates and original Italian text from the 1626 edition. The plates are printed with the descriptive text on the facing, opposite pages.
