Summary Note
No publication-date is carried by either title-plate; but the 'Extractum Privilegii' carries the date of 1719, and plate 28 that of 1715. According to the cataloguer of The Mark J. Millard architectural collection, the 1719 edition is the first complete one, but 26 plates had been issued in 1715, and 13 had been presented to Count Dietrichstein in 1713.
The title on the added engraved title-plate reads, 'Prospecte und Abrisze einiger Gebäude von Wien daselbst gezeichnet von J.E.F. v. E./ Vues et façades de quelques Hotels de Vienne dessinées sur le lieu par J.E.F. d'E.'
The plates, as the title implies, are all perspective views, with no plans or sections. They show houses, palaces, squares and market-places in Vienna, and villas and gardens near the city. They are captioned in German and French throughout.
