This is part one of a three-part publication published by the author in 1847, 1848 and 1852. The work is dedicated to George Godwin. It was printed by 'Gilbert & Rivington, Printers, St. John's Square, London'. The author drew the plates, the lithographer was G.F. Bragge and they were printed by 'L'Enfant & Co 12 Rathbone Pl.'
