General Note
The printer statement appears on the verso of the title-page, 'London: Printed by P. White and Son, Devonshire Square.' The lecture is prefaced by a dedication to Thomas Bell, Esq., F.R.S. F.L.S etc (p. iii-iv). The frontispiece is entitled, 'New Front of Crosby Hall. / Originally Builded [sic] in 1472'.
Provenance
An owner's signature appears on the upper right of the recto of the frontispiece, 'Samuel Nixon'.
