VISITOR'S REPORT
Painting SCHOOL

THE VISITOR for the time being is MASTER of the SCHOOL. His duty is to
set the Models, to examine and correct the performances of the Students, to give
them Advice and Instruction, and to maintain due Order and Discipline.

NAME OF VISITOR Sir Wm. Orpen R.A. Elect.
PERIOD OF DUTY From Oct 4 to Oct 30, 1919

SUGGESTIONS AND REMARKS

Instruction
respect your subject

Discipline
Let them do what they like as long as they love
their work.

General
The women's class is very much alive, the mens
rather dead, I suggest that these classes should be mixed.

The women's class seemed rather too much taken up
with the art of the moment. The past seemed for-
gotten, the men's with one or two exceptions, did not
appear to be thinking at all.
