He remembers that a similar apprach was made by his predecessor in 1938. He has spoken to Dr. Wettergren of the National Museum in Stockholm and the Antiquarian Royal, Prof. Martin Olsson.
He asks whether the Royal Academy would wish to stage such an exhibition.
