Lee, in his capacity of Treasurer, asks de Gruchy to take up another estimate or estimates in addition to that of Messrs Hollands, for any work, structural or decorative, at the RA that year. He feels that doing so would put him in a much stronger position with the Council in terms of getting the estimates passed.
