Dear Mr Todd.
May I offer you my congratulations on your
election as an A.R.A.! I have admired your
work for a long time, and am delighted that it
should have this recognition.
I am at present acting as Hon. Sec. to the Royal
Academy Club, which is the Dining Club of the R.A.
We have about half-a-dozen dinners each year at
Burlington House, one in the City, and a Summer
Meeting in the Country.
I hope you will join the Club, as it is an
excellent way of getting to know everyone, and
the dinners are most enjoyable. You may
be sure that you will receive a very warm
and friendly welcome.
The subscription is £2.2.0 per annum, and
there is an entrance fee of a guineas.
I enclose a notice of the next dinner on
May 1st and hope that you will be able to come.

ROYAL ACADEMY CLUB

By kind permission of the Master and
Wardens of the Painter's Company the next
Dinner will be held at the Painter's Hall,
9 Little Trinity Lane, E.C. 4 on Monday
May 1st at 7.15 for 7.30.

Dinner Jacket

As early notice is of great assistance
to those Guests who may be called upon to
speak I hope that Members who wish to
attend will be so good as to notify me as
soon as possible, together with the names
of their Guests but in any case not later
than April 27th without fail.

The costs of the Dinner, which should
be sent at the same time, is 12/6 for
Members and 25/- for guests.

If, after signifying their intention
to attend, Members find themselves
unable to do so, they are earnestly
requested to let me know not later than
April 27th.
