Requesting their support for the Society of Artists' proposed exhibition in 1790, and inviting them to attend a meeting at Mill's Coffee House in Gerrard Street on 8 January to consider the matter further. Below the text of the letter is a draft by the Secretary, also asking for support for the exhibition and an indication of the probable number of pictures or drawings that could be supplied.
