Content Description
He explains that his colours came from Roberson's in Long Acre, mixed with Saris's wax as a medium, diluting with turps or petroleum. He has found that diluting Gambian's medium produces a good binding quality and he sees no reason why Robertson shouldn't use the same materials with which he worked on
Leighton's picture. He has told Mr. Watney that Robertson had best work in the R.A. rooms.
