Content Description
Secretary's memoranda and correspondence relating to the storage of RA permanent collection and other works of art within the RA and elsewhere during World War II, including the Leonardo cartoon. The papers include: list of works to be stored in specially prepared vault in case of emergency, 1939; secondary and third lists of works, 1939; and correspondence and list relating to the storage at the RA of works belonging to Sir George Clausen, 1943-45.
