Content Description
He had held off writing, hoping to supply better news of his sister,
Mrs. Sheridan. Mr. & Mrs. Leigh have now informed him that her distemper is much better, although the evening they left she was complaining of the pain in her side once more. Humphry is to pass news of Elizabeth's cough, but not to say how ill she has been. He is living quietly and avoiding mixed company but looks forward to seeing Humphry.
