Historical Background

Richmond was appointed a visitor to the newly reformed Royal College of Art in 1895, he was subsequently a co-author of a critical report based upon these notes.

Content Description

The notes commence with general remarks deal with each element of the College in turn - anatomy, the antique room, drawing from the flat, plant drawing, decorative design, drapery, life classmodelling classes, stump drawing - along with more generalise comments relating to space and technical matters.
