Historical Background
The resolution to hold annual conferences of Academicians and Associates was confirmed by the General Assembly of 30 January 1907. Their purpose was 'to elect those Associates who are to take part in the selection and hanging of the Summer Exhibition, and to make suggestions with regard to the Schools and the Summer Exhibition'.
Content Description
A note at the front of the volume states that no minutes were taken prior to the meeting of 4 May 1910, but that accounts of the conferences were given in the general proceedings of the Annual Reports from 1907 onwards.
