Lord Cornwallis as he carries a packet for Humphry and has promised assistance. She has now received his letter sent by land (HU/3/43] and it has thouroughly sunk her spirits, but his
brother has written brightly on his prospects. She continues in a manner guaged to cheer him up and steel his resolve.
