Content Description
She has been searching through letters and papers relating to the claim of Ozias Humphry on the Nabob of Oude. She details his attempts to get payment. In about 1796, Lord Camden told the writer's father that Humphry had refused to consider accepting the principal without interest. In 1805 Cockerell, Trail & Palmer acknowledged their possession of the Nabob's bond. If address thinks the writer would benefit, will he bring forward the case, though she thinks the issue must be doubtful as so much time has passed.
