Content Description
Requesting return of the picture of Jupiter. It was not Cristall's business to make a young student a finished artist, and it was his opinion that a work designed to lay down the law to artists and students should be decorated with the labours of proficients. Cristall had been informed that the proprietors objected to making payments for repeating the drawings which had failed in their resemblance to the original. He did not see why his credit should be sacrificed for that which need not be done at all.
