Content Description
Bonomi sends Christmas greetings. He attaches a newspaper cutting quoting a remark of Gibson's that he had been melancholy all day after seeing a newly-discovered statue of Hercules: "to think that, after the labour of a life, I had made such slight approaches to the perfection of the master hand which had executed that work." Bonomi concludes with some personal news, and mentions a visit from Gibson's brother,
Solomon.
