Copy letter in which Gibson replies to letters [from the convenor of the committee on the Glasgow Wellington Memorial, GI/1/90-91] Gibson states that he had no drawings of a similar work to the equestrian statue proposed to send to the committee. He submits a figure of £9,000 as his price for the statue, estimates that the work would take three years, and stipulates that he could only come to Glasgow in the summer months.
