Content Description

He pleased to hear from the writer. He was at Butleigh Court in the summer and has works under way. He has not been ou"out to the woods and wilds" as much as he ought. He has sketches of Sir Joshua's birthplace, school etc and asks if they are any use. Sir Joshua gave his portrait to the Corporation of Plympton, who then sold it to the Earl of Egremont. He has seen the parish register, where Joshua is registered as Joseph. He is sad at the death of their friend Mr Ford.
