He wrote from China, but has beaten the letter back he is sure. He managed to live very elegantly on board and had an agreable passage. He asks that Chambers handle a business matter. He sends by Tom Bevan to Mr Elliot two cannisters of cotton with a machine for extracting the seeds. The indigo seed will come by Mr Bradley Blake. He is glad to have restored the company's affairs.
