I.G. McAllister, to Spielmann
Spielmann's name was an "open-sesame" when she contacted Macmillan about
S[tephen] C[oleridge]'s book. She thinks it would be useful if he visited A[lfred] G[ilbert] when he next visits London, she doubts Gilbert will make a photograph for
Mr. Am[schewitz]. She complains about the attitude of the
D[uke] of P[ortland] in progressing the appeal for Alfred Gilbert.
