He hopes Clausen has not forgotten old van Ruith, who is now suffering from failing eyesight, at 82. Mde. Munro has for many years assisted him when in times of need. She helped organise an exhibition of his work and lost £20 of her money due to gross misrepresentation by a press agent. She is currently ill and so he asks Clausen to use his influence on the Artists' Benevolent Fund.
He hopes Mr. and Mrs. Tollemache are well.
