Sending thanks for the photograph of the painting, which is much better than the one in RA Illustrated. Asks for the name of the photographer, as she would like copies for her friends. She has tried to call more than once but he is always out, his "lady-friend" should amend his "badger" ways. She went to the Royal Academy with a party of friends, who all liked the portrait. She enjoyed the exhibition all the more for knowing how much goes into it.
