Thanking Church for sending the result of his investigation of chromophile and jaune de Naples. He wants Hill to make a preparation of poppy oil, oil of spike, copal and amber. Discusses his results using chromophile, which dulls after repeated painting. His experience with Jaune de Naples differs from everybody elses. I reports, privately, that Church's accommodation will be included in a paper for the autumn meeting of the general body.
