Letter from the Pro-Chancellor, University of Birmingham, asking Middleton Todd if he could let him know when he was likely to come back to Birmingham to finish the portrait. The letter is accompanied by Middleton Todd's draft reply, in which he states that the portrait has progressed very well and he thinks it is one of the best he had painted.
