[draft] Todd to Dr. E. Elliston
He often thinks of the recipient and his mother and sister will be delighted he has written. His sister is now a widow, provides an account of their life in Malaga before the war and then their experience during the war (in which her husband was captured by the Japanese). A year ago he went to Northern Ireland and painted the Governor, Lord Granville. He is now at work on an eight foot portrait of
Sir Henry Dale and
Sir Rupert De la Bere. At the Academy he currently has a portrait of
Anthony Rothschild and one of the
Archbishop of Canterbury.
