He called at Stafford Place soon after meeting her Ladyship in Hyde Park, flattering himself that she would purchase the portrait of Kitty Levy. A friend of his is writing brief biographical sketches of the persons appearing in his portraits and he sends the memoir of Kitty Levy. He declares solemnly that he would not suggest that her ladyship would want to acquire a portrait of any young lady who was not a model of virtuousness.
