Content Description
Explaining that he had communicated Middleton Todd's fee of 500 guineas and other conditions for undertaking a portrait to Mrs Andreae. Williamson thought this was slightly above the sum she had in mind. He concludes by reminding Middleton Todd, that should the commission go ahead, the usual fee of 15% would be due to the Royal Society of Portrait Painters. The letter encloses Middleton Todd's draft letter of acknowledegment, dated 22 May 1954.
