Sending duplicate of Humphry's account, current to 30 par 1787 [HU/8/137]. They have not yet been able to recover debt from
J. Alefounder.
Mr. Johnson is not very hopeful about the Nabob's bond. At his request, they have paid him for his part in Humphry's suit against
Sir John Macpherson. The present balance of Humphry's account with them is very triflling but shall be remitted to him with Mr Alefounder's debt (if recovered), if Mr. Johnson has no further claims on them.
